About Me

  Basic Overview

  The basic overview of me... First thing, I can write a 100,000-word book that takes place purely in my mind, creating realistic and lovable characters with an interesting story, but ask me to write a paragraph about myself and I'm stuck. 

  With that being said, here's my best shot on a few sentences about me! I'm a writer (duh, nice job me... Bet nobody saw that coming!), I speak in sarcasm (won't even comment on that...), I love music and find music a necessity to write anything worth reading, and I've been homeschooled my whole life. Meaning that my views on life are way different than everyone I know, which is a sadly low number of people! Which, being an introvert who would rather write and do schoolwork than be social anyway, is not a fact that bothers me. 

  So I tend to ramble, and no amount of editing or rewriting has been able to fix that. There's a pretty good sense of me, though! 

Interests

  Like, besides writing? I have interests besides writing?! Oh, yeah, all those... Besides writing, I love reading, especially horror, PG romance, historical fiction, and textbooks. Yes, I like textbooks, just not history or math ones! 

  I also love dancing, as of now I only dance Jazz and Lyrical, but in the future, I'd love to do ballet, acro, and pretty much everything else. I also do aerial dance, except I ran out of things I can learn without an instructor so I'm bored with that... 

  But is that all? NOPE. I have procured a copious miscellany of locutions, the preponderance of which few people comprehend. In other words, I have a huge vocabulary and I'm not afraid to use it. Same with grammar, poor grammar bothers me to no end! 

  Also psychology! I love psychology, particular the darker sides... What exactly are serial killers thinking? What makes these mental illnesses happen? What are hallucinations like? Anyways, I'm going to be a psychiatrist as well as a writer!

Family and Pets

  I have two parents (WOW REALLY?) yes, my Mom and Dad, they're the best. Aside from them, I have three siblings, all younger than me. One sister, who is ridiculously successful, she makes me look bad... And two brothers, who are boys. By that, I mean noise with dirt on them. They make me look pretty good! But they're great siblings, despite all the complaining I could do. 

  Then the more interesting part of the family... The pets. The ones who can get famous on social media. I have a dog, Hannah, who is purely food motivated. I'm pretty sure she likes us, but I have doubts as to where her loyalty would lie if a serial killer happened to have a package of bacon... Then there is the queen, Sunny. She's a bearded dragon, and she knows she's the queen. Hannah doesn't mess with her, despite the fact that Sunny would hardly be a mouthful for her.

How I Got Into Writing

  It all started when I was a kid... And I was reading. Who knows how I got the idea to write my own book, but all of a sudden I had a million ideas! But of course, nobody could ever know... I spent days up in the barn loft with notebooks, slightly damp most of the time, and wasps flying around my head. All of the stories from back then are gone, they all had to be thrown away, but I can remember the first book I tried to write was about a cat named Damiana who got lost and then somehow ended up at this magic school with the power to make four-leaved clovers grow. I don't know where it was going, but it was an original idea! 

  From there, I didn't think of writing as a job... Because who can do that? It's hard! Not many people can do that! But then I got a reality check. Everything is hard, life is hard. So now I'm being both an author and a psychiatrist, two hard jobs that almost nobody does. Do what you love, right?? (Hey, I'll be able to prescribe myself medications when I go crazy, no worries!)

• My name (Jaci) is pronounced Jay-cee, not Jackie
• For some reason, my immaculate grammar doesn't apply to bullet lists, as in no periods
• I get straight As in school
• I'm single and plan on staying that way
• I like energetic music, but not necessarily happy music 
• My favorite colors are gray, blue, purple, and black
• If you do personality types, I'm an MBTI INFJ and dyt 2/3
• I have a dark sense of humor
• I don't like watching TV
• I hate sugar, except in cookies and chocolate (any other kind of sugar either gives me a headache or makes me want to puke)
• My books are much better written than my blog, probably because my characters are better at talking than me and they're the ones telling the story
• I'm a Scorpio
• I'm both overly sensitive and apathetic, however that works
• My favorite dancer is Kaycee Rice
• My age is always changing for the worse
• I can't find any pictures of myself that are suitable to be seen
• I'm still in search of a horror movie that can at least prolong the amount of time it takes me to fall asleep
• I hate my voice, which apparently has a British accent, but just sounds defective to me (I've never even been to Britain/England or known anyone from there, so who knows how that happened!)
