Bree was just an ordinary girl, with friends and goals and happiness... Until she's forced to become a murderer, effectively ruining her life. All her dreams are smashed, relationships destroyed, her dignity demolished, and she's utterly lost.
Jamie was anything but ordinary, but he was fine with that. Fine before he was the accident, which not only killed his brother but also his lucidity. He couldn't feel worse, there's no one there to help him, and he feels there's only one choice...
They both wind up in the same place: A prison that can suck the sanity right out of you. Even if they can escape, can they cope with the real world? Will their relationship be enough to save what's left of their lives, or is the hope they found in each other what will destroy them completely?
